General Information
Hotel Oasi - Es liegt an der Grenze zu Umbrien in der Naehe von Assisi (60 km), Perugia (45km), Siena (69 km), Firenze (85 km) und von Rom (190 km). Das Klosterhotel liegt 600 m. ausserhalb der Stadtmauern des schoenen und alten Staedtchens Cortona. Die Lage ist besonders schoen mit Blick auf die Chiana-Ebene und den Trasimenischen See. Die Zimmer sind schoen und komfortabel; die Kueche exquisit
und typisch toskanisch. Zu dem Hotel gehoert ein Weinkeller aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, in dem regelmaessig Weinproben stattfinden. Es werden viele toskanische Weine angeboten. Dazu reicht man Bruschetta mit Olivenoel, Crostini, Schafskaese und toskanische Salami. Das Hotel hat auch eine alte kuenstlerische Kirche im Rokoko-Stil aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, die eine Meditation und die Teilnahme an einem Gottesdienst in deutscher Sprache ermoeglicht. Das Hotel Oasi bietet ihnen eine ganz besondere Atmosphaere.
Oasi Neumann - Drei-Sterne-Hotel - beliebter Sitz von Kongressen und Tagungen, ist eines der meist empfohlendsten Centren aus touristischen Reiseführen.
Das Klosterhotel ist eine Gründung des Hl. Franz und der Hl. Klara von Assisi (l224). Es liegt idyllisch inmitten von Oliven-Hainen und Cypressen, nur 15 Minuten auf einer kleinen Nebenstrasse vom Stadtzentrum Cortona entfernt. Heute ist es als Klosterhotel umgebaut. Es ist ein imposantes Gebäude mit künstlerischer Kirche und Glockenturm. Dieser grosse Komplex mit seiner gelben Farbe ist schon von weitem zu sehen.
